Expert meeting on the drug-related infectious diseases (DRID) indicator 2017

This year’s annual drug-related infectious diseases (DRID) expert meeting was organised back-to-back with the 4th meeting of the ECDC hepatitis B and C network in Lisbon, with a joint meeting on 14 June. The main topics discussed at the DRID meeting were outbreaks, incidents and emerging risks, updates on the prevalence of infections, behavioural studies, responses, and the follow-up of the assessment of the implementation of the DRID key indicator. Experts from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Serbia attended this meeting.
